| Q: |
How accurate is SpamIntelligence? |
| A: |
SpamIntelligence is based on the renowned SpamAssassin™ filter which has been in development for several years.
In the default setting, it currently filters 97.5% of spam with a false positive rate of 0.03%, that is 3 "good" messages in 10.000 are mislabeled.
That's a pretty good accuracy - don't be fooled by those folks that claim a 99.999%, or even 100% accuracy. Humans make mistakes, and so does software. |

| Q: |
What are the system requirements? |
| A: |
SpamIntelligence for Outlook will run on any installation of Outlook 2000/2002 (XP)/2003. That is, Windows 98 or better, with Internet Explorer 4 or higher. We recommend at least 64 MB of RAM. |

| Q: |
Do I have to purchase it? |
| A: |
No, it's freely available under the terms of the GPL, version 2. |

| Q: |
I don't have administrator privileges on my computer. Can I still run SpamIntelligence? |
| A: |
Yes! In most cases you don't need to bother your administrator. SpamIntelligence will install just fine without administrator privileges - this is possible because it can live in your own account space, without making modifications to the whole system (which would require admin privileges). |

| Q: |
Will it work with Outlook 2003? What happens with the integrated spam filter? |
| A: |
Yes, it works great in Outlook 2003. SpamIntelligence will deactivate the integrated spam filter of Outlook 200 - because two filters don't improve accuracy at all. They'd be fighting over who gets to scan what message, and misinterpret each other's actions. It will be reactivated when you uninstall SpamIntelligence. |

| Q: |
What about Outlook Express? |
| A: |
Outlook Express is very different to Outlook. It is currently not supported. We may support it at a later time though, so please sign up for the newsletter to be informed when that happens! |
